Ruturaj Gaikwad is the second batsman with highest average in the league. Though he has only one good season so far, the consistency with which he scored massive amount of runs is not something that can be taken lightly.
Another opener Hashim Amla makes this list for the highest batting average when we make the cut off to minimum 500 runs. The South African great didn’t have an IPL career that can be talked about but he was consistent in whatever chances he got. He has represented only Kings XI Punjab at the IPL.
The fourth on this list is another opener and an IPL great in David Warner. The pocket dynamite has been one of the best players in IPL ever.
