RCB Playing 11 2024: Royal Challengers Bangalore Player List, Players Bought at IPL Auction 2024

The Royal Challengers are chasing their elusive first IPL title once again. They had a challenge ahead of them during the auction for next season. After the Cameron Green trade from Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore were desperate for some reinforcements in the bowling lineup after letting go of some big names. They traded Shahbaz Ahmed to SRH and Mayank Dagar joined the squad.

RCB finished just outside of the playoff places last season as their qualification efforts went all the way till the very final match. RCB had six slots remaining with three for the overseas players (3 overseas players) in their Squad with a purse of 23.25 crores for the auction. They have now added 3 overseas players to their squad.

While four overseas (i.e. Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green and Reece Topely) almost cemented their places in the playing XI, they needed some backup options in their squad. Alzarri Joseph is in with Lockie Ferguson. Now they have a stronger squad to run into the upcoming season.
