India is one of the most passionate cricketing nations in the world. The Indian Premier League (IPL) has been an integral part of our lives for over a decade now. We've seen many new stars emerge from this league, and we're sure to see some more superstars soon enough! With all the drama and excitement that comes with each new tournament, this year is no different. There are eight teams for this year’s tournament:

1Rajasthan Royals
2Royal Challengers Bangalore
3Kolkata Knight Riders
4Punjab Kings
5Chennai Super Kings
6Sunrisers Hyderabad
7Delhi Capitals
8Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians 2021

Mumbai Indians, under the leadership of the hitman Rohit Sharma, is one of the teams that has an enviable record in the IPL. To fire their opening salvo with the bat in IPL 2021, they have Rohit Sharma, Quinton de Kock and Chris Lynn. On their day, Surya Kumar Yadav, Ishant Kishan, and Saurabh Tiwari can thrash the bowling and be match winners on their own. Pandya brothers provide reliable all-round options to the team. Keiron Pollard can turn the looming defeat into a win in a few overs. In the bowling department, they have indomitable Jasprit Bumrah and incisive Trent Boult to lead the pack of bowlers.

Mumbai Indians has so far won five titles since the beginning of IPL in 2008 and arguably been the most successful side as of date. Despite their firepower in all departments, their performance in IPL 2021 has been below par, and they have won only 4 out of 10 games played so far. With CSK and Delhi Capitals teams already sitting pretty on top positions, MI have a tough task ahead of them in IPL 2021 to qualify for semis.

Bumrah bowled the first super over, allowing only five runs to be scored. Mumbai were limited to five runs in reply, and the match was sent to the second super over. This time, Mumbai batted first and could score 11 runs. In response, Agarwal and Gayle completed the chase in one of the greatest IPL matches ever.

2. Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals, 2014: Rajasthan batted first and put up a total of 189, which Mumbai had to chase down in 14.3 overs in order to beat Rajasthan and qualify for the playoffs.Mumbai got off to a fast start, but Rajasthan responded attempting to claw their way back into the game. Corey Anderson and Ambati Rayudu formed a fantastic combination, scoring 189 runs at the 14.3 over-mark. Rajasthan believed they had qualified, but Mumbai needed a six off the next delivery, and Aditya Tare sent one out of the park to finish in style.

In 10 matches played, they have won eight times and are sure to qualify for the semifinals. Ravindra Jadeja has been in red hot form during IPL 2021 and has been instrumental in pulling victory out of defeat in some of the matches that the team won.

Mahi thus once again proving why he is one of the greatest finishers of all time.

Best Team in IPL

The Mumbai Indians (MI) are, without a doubt, the finest team in the Indian Premier League. They have five IPL titles under their belt, all of which came in the previous eight seasons. Since the start of the 2010 season, they have been very consistent. Rohit Sharma taking over as captain in 2013 was a game-changer for them. With them, he has five championships: 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020. MI's overall victory percentage is 59.04 percent, which is the second-best in IPL history. People might argue Chennai Super Kings is the better side, but MI have a superior head-to-head record against them. They have also beaten CSK three times in the final.
