The RR skipper showed no mercy against the off spinner Washington Sundar as he scored 40 runs of his 55 runs in the game. It was some brutal power hitting and in the process Sanju Samson became the batsman with most sixes for Rajasthan Royals. The Kerala born elegant batsman smacked 5 sixes in the game and helped his team get to a huge target which proved to be more than enough in the end.
Sanju Samson has hit 110 sixes representing Rajasthan Royals in IPL. He is a natural six hitter and one of the main reasons why he is a perfect modern day T20 batsman and has always been talked highly by the experts and fans. The Indian middle order has a spot for the taking and the players fighting for the spot are Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Sanju Samson. A strong IPL this year will help their case to become stronger with the captain Rohit Sharma and the team management. If Sanju Samson goes on to smack sixes like he did in the season opener, it will be very hard for the selectors to overlook Sanju Samson.
