Indian vice-captain Smriti Mandhana has revealed that the team will go all out against Australia and want to dominate every game they play. The team has already reached the semi-finals of the ICC’s women’s world T20 and will play against Australia in their next game.

Want to dominate every game: Mandhana

The Indian team will lock horns against Australia on November 17. The Indian vice-captain said that she looks at this match as just another game and won’t take any pressure. she thinks the Indian team will be looking at it as a match only and not just like they need to be on the top of the table of this group.

According to Mandhana, the mindset will be to go all out. She explained that before coming into the World T20, Ramesh Powar, the coach had told the team that they have to dominate each and every match, so that is the only mindset which they had the last three matches, and she doesn’t think it will change in the next match.

Mandhana not unimpressed with batting

The Indian opener feels that in the first two matches they definitely felt that their batting was good, but in the match against Ireland, she felt batting could have been better. But at the same time in the bowling and fielding department, she thinks that they are really good, and they dominated the opposition.

She admitted that 140 was good enough because in T20s you can’t keep thinking about the wicket and the outfield because it is such a fast game. So she thinks that they were aiming at 165 to 170, but unfortunately they could not do that.
