Who won today’s IPL match?: The seventh match of the IPL 2022 took place between Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings took place at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. The game saw truckloads of runs being scored as batsmen of both teams came out all guns blazing and smacked bowlers all over the park. However, after that Evin Lewis and Deepak Hooda (13) took the matters into their own hands and kept scoring runs at great pace. After then wicket of Hooda, Ayush Badoni (19*) joined Lewis (55*) and the duo scored 25 runs in the penultimate over to tilt the match towards their side. With 9 runs needed in the last over, LSG chased the target with 3 balls remaining. For CSK, Dwaine Pretorius was the pick of the bowlers and returned with the figures of 2/31.

Batting at No.4, the West Indian batsman came out all guns blazing and made sure that he didn’t let go the momentum that his side had. The southpaw scored brutal 55 runs in 23 and helped his side chased the mammoth total of 210 runs. His knock was laced with 6 fours and 3 maximums. But the main highlight was his innings was in the penultimate over, where he smashed 16 runs alone.
