DC vs KOL Dream11 Mega Contest 12 Crores Team Prediction Grand League, 3 October

DC vs KOL Dream11 Prediction: After a couple of 160 plus games, the action now moves to Sharjah where 200 plus scores are the norm and anything less than that would be termed as a failure from the batting unit. Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders possess a variety of hitters to take advantage of the short boundary and the flat pitches at Sharjah. It should be one of those games where you just close your eyes and pick the batsman for your fantasy team especially with the likes of Shaw, Gill, Dhawan, Pant, Hetmyer, Russell, DK and Morgan. In a game full of power hitters, the team which hits the most sixes should ideally win this game.

Delhi Capitals are coming off a loss against KOL after their batsmen failed to chase down the target of 163. There has been no stand out performance from their batting unit so far but the bowling attack has been on fire with the pace of Rabada and Nortje and the economical Axar along with Mishra/Ashwin. Their batsmen wouldn't have a better setting than Sharjah to come back to form. Ashwin who has been out of the side after a freak injury during their first match should be back replacing A Mishra.

Kolkata Knight Riders have been impressive with two consecutive wins since their first match loss against MI. The pace attack of Cummins, Mavi, Nagarkoti and Russell forms the heart of the bowling attack. Their spin attack has been struggling with an out of form Kuldeep Yadav and S Narine not at his best. V Chakravarthy has been promising in his short stint so far and whether they'll go with 3 spinners at Sharjah remains to be seen. They could look at bringing in an extra batter for Kuldeep to bolster their batting.

Pitch Report

Would you like to play a fantasy game where you can substitute some players during the match?

The scores in Sharjah this IPL season reads as 216, 200, 226 and 223 and anything short of 200 will be a disappointment for the batting unit. Spinners and Pacers both have been taken apart at this venue but hit the deck pacers do have a slightly good record here. Dew will certainly make its presence to trouble the bowling attack.

DC vs KKR Dream11 Prediction

Possible DC Dream11 Playing 11 –
S Dhawan
P Shaw
S Iyer (C)
S Hetmyer
R Pant
M Stoinis
A Patel
R Ashwin
K Rabada
A Nortje
I Sharma

Let’s take a look at some best picks for DC vs KKR Dream11 Prediction

S Dhawan – The left-handed opening batsman has been a consistent run-scorer in IPL since his debut but runs are hard to come by this season with him managing only 69 runs from 3 games so far but Sharjah presents an opportunity for him to boost his form.

R Pant – The talented young wicketkeeper-batsman will turn 23 tomorrow and he would love to celebrate it with a big knock in today’s match. He has been patchy so far with 96 runs from 3 matches, yet he’s the highest run-scorer for DC this season which indicates their dependency on him.

K Rabada – The South African pacer continued his form from last season with 7 wickets from 3 games just two wickets away from grabbing the Purple Cap. With every type of bowling getting hit at Sharjah, Rabada has the opportunity to bag some wickets.

P Shaw – The Mumbai opener would love to bat at Sharjah which suits his batting style. His short ball struggles will be negated due to the short boundaries with even a top-edge travelling over the ropes.

Possible KOL Dream11 Playing 11 –
S Gill

S Narine
N Rana
D Karthik (C & WK)
E Morgan
A Russell
K Nagarkoti
P Cummins
S Mavi
Varun C
K Yadav

Let’s take a look at some best picks for DC vs KKR Today Match Prediction

S Gill – The cricketing world has now started to take a look at the young Gill’s stroke-making abilities after he played two stellar match-winning knocks against SRH and RR. He has shots all around the ground which makes him a big threat at Sharjah.

A Russell – The Russell Muscle hasn’t arrived fully to the party yet with him showing some glimpses against RR. He can clear any boundaries at any venue and if Russell gets his eye in at Sharjah it would end up as an absolute carnage.

P Cummins – After a shoddy first match, Cummins came back to his best with match-defining opening spells against SRH and RR. KKR would like for him to continue those performances at Sharjah.

D Karthik – The promotion to the top hasn’t worked for the KKR captain this season with returns of 31 from 3 matches. Sharjah could be the turnaround for his fortunes.

DC vs KOL Dream11 Team Captain, Differential Picks

Team Composition Preferences –
1). All Rounders – Russell is a must in this category while picking others is not that necessary.
2). Batsman – Pick more from this category as we can never know who will go berserk at Sharjah. Give more preference to left-handed batters and openers.
3). Bowlers – Hit the deck pacers and pacers who bowl at the death are good choices and try not to overload in this category.
4). Wicket-Keeper – There are only two options here with D Karthik and R Pant. Pick both of them to be on the safer side.

Having more KOL players in the DC vs KOL Dream11 Match Prediction team is preferable.

Captaincy Picks –

The top-order batsman from both sides like Dhawan, Shaw, Gill, Rana and Pant are the obvious choices but Russell should be the first choice with him capable of wreaking havoc at Sharjah.

Differential Picks –

S Hetmyer – He hasn’t yet replicated his CPL success so far, but Sharjah provides the platform for him to excel and if an early wicket falls, he’s the one likely to come in.
V Chakravarthy – The mystery spinner from Tamil Nadu has been impressive so far and is one bowler who can trouble the batsmen at Sharjah with his variations.
