  • The service ball must not touch the net.
  • Double touches are prohibited when receiving the service ball.
  • The serve must be executed within 5 seconds after the referee’s whistle.
  • The serve should be delivered from the service zone without crossing the end line.

5. Foul and Scoring:

  • If the ball falls on the box line or in the dead zone, it is considered a foul.
  • A ball caught during the rally must be released within 3 seconds.

6. Positioning:

Players assume a 2-3-2 formation during the service.

7. Movement and Penalty:

Players are not allowed to shift the ball from right to left or left to right, resulting in penalty points.

8. Time-Outs:

Two time-outs of 30 seconds each are permitted in each set for the entire match.

9. Uniform and Numbers:

Players must wear proper uniforms, including shorts and jerseys with numbers printed on the front and back. Numbers 1-12 are allowed.

10. Simultaneous Catching:

Two players cannot catch the ball simultaneously; doing so leads to the loss of points.

11. Court Dimensions:

  • The throwball court measures 12.2 meters x 18.3 meters, with a neutral box on each side measuring 1 meter.
  • The net is placed across the center of the court at a height of 2.2 meters.
