  • Deccan Chargers have been the worst team in the IPL history with only 38.66%. Even after lifting the title in 2009, their performances were not consistent enough in the other editions. They played in the tournament from 2008 to 2011.
  • Punjab Kings franchise reached the playoffs in 2008, and were the runner up in the 2014 edition. But, they have only secured 91 wins in 204 matches.
  • Although the Delhi Capitals have improved their performances since the 2019 edition, but they do not have a good record in the tournament. Until 2021 season, they a win ratio of 45.67%.
  • One of the most popular teams in IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore have won only 98 fixtures out of 211 matches. They qualified for the playoffs in 2009, 2011, 2016, and 2021.

  • The Kolkata Knight Riders team won the title in 2012 and 2014, and have a 52.15% winning ratio in the Indian Premier League.
  • The team with 5 title wins in 2013, 15,17, 19, and 2020 has been one of the most successful sides in the tournament. They have secured victories in 125 fixtures out of 209 matches.
